Your new role
You will be tasked with working on a team of qualified electricians to diagnose, repair, install and maintain electrical components on a variety of stationary machinery and process equipment.

CPR/LVR Training

Part of the Quanta Services Group, a Fortune 300 company, Consolidated Power Projects Australia (CPP) is an industry leader in high voltage and renewable power solutions. They specialize in the design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of high voltage infrastructure, such as transmission and substations, wind farms and battery storage systems.
The pipelines in operation are safe and will be for decades to come.
A chance
As one of their high voltage electricians, you will be working on industry leading projects in Greater Brisbane and/or Queensland. Under the company’s contract, you will receive excellent working conditions and the opportunity to work on high voltage substation projects that contribute to Australia’s renewable energy future.
The Brisbane-based project involved connecting a new battery facility to the Tesla substation, which supplies electricity to Southeast Queensland (Gold Coast, Logan and South Brisbane regions). The regional project is a new substation in Kidston, part of the Kidston Clean Energy Centre, which will be the third largest electricity storage facility in the country.
High voltage electricians will join a great team culture as part of the onsite construction teams and work collaboratively to deliver these large projects safely, on time and on budget.
Skills and Experience:
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Queensland electric license
Solid knowledge of high voltage equipment
Previous experience in the utility or industrial sector
Although not mandatory, experience in substation and high voltage construction and testing will be highly valued
