Sales Associate, VIC Joints- DePuy Synthes

For an experienced freelance sales assistant, the opportunity to join the DePuy Synthes team at VIC Joints was exciting. In this role, you will be empowered to implement bespoke strategies to maintain and grow Victorian businesses.

Reporting to the VIC Regional Sales Manager, you will develop positive long-term relationships with current and potential customers in the splicing business, with a focus on increasing profitability and market share.

The Sales Associate role is a transitional role that will see successful candidates transition into a Product Specialist role within 12-18 months based on their performance and development in the role.

Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the Territory

Provide customers with accurate information about all products and their indications

Organize and conduct regular training for theater staff. Partner with the in-house specialist training team to provide additional top-notch training opportunities

Actively manage consignment inventory and loaner equipment logistics.

Qualifications

Previous history of sales or clinical success in a hospital setting, preferably with medical devices

Ability to identify customer pain points, implicit expectations and needs and proactively seek solutions.

Ability to build relationships and conduct business conversations with a wide variety of clients.

Strong communication skills, understanding customer needs and collaborating effectively, influencing and influencing

Confidence to work effectively under the pressure of the OR environment

A qualification with a degree related to business, health or science is advantageous.
